Join CBSET at the Society for Biomaterials Annual Meeting and Exposition, to be held on April 3-6, in Seattle, Washington.
The Society for Biomaterials annual meeting brings together an international community of academic researchers, industry scientists, clinicians, regulatory professionals, and entrepreneurs to share knowledge and to learn recent developments in basic and applied biomaterials research.
CBSET and CILcare will be involved in chairing a number of presentations at this meeting, including:
- Wednesday, April 3, 2019 – 1:00pm to 3:00pm – From Bench-to-Bedside: Translating Biomaterials Research *BTI* 1. Co-chairs, Rami Tzafriri, CBSET and Aurore Marie, CILcare. This session will provide a podium for industry researchers developing innovative biomaterials-based technologies to give the audience perspective on the development process through specific examples. Special emphasis will be placed on the emerging field of Intracochlear Drug and Cell Delivery including an invited presentation that will provide an overview of the physio local barriers to such therapies.
- Thursday, April 4, 2019 – 10:30am to 12:30pm – From Bench-to-Bedside: Translating Biomaterials Research *BTI* 2. Rami Tzafriri co-chairing. This session will provide a podium for industry researchers developing a variety of innovative biomaterials-based technologies to give the audience perspective on the development process through specific examples. Talks will cover the entire R&D and translation from conception through licensing, preclinical development, clinical trials and commercialization.
- Thursday, April 4, 2019 – 4:15pm to 6:15pm – Cardiovascular Biomaterials SIG. Rami Tzafriri co-chairing.
